Advisory Settings Wizard



The Advisory Settings Wizard allows you to create a new polygonal advisory region by clicking the mouse around the boundaries of the desired region on a map (up to 500 points can be defined - the more points you define, the slower the activation will be). You can also define an event advisory that does not contain a map region. And, you can delete, ignore, or modify an existing advisory.

NEW: Select this option to define a new advisory. Click the Next> button to continue.

MODIFY: Select this option to modify an existing advisory's settings. Click the Next> button to continue. You must select an advisory from the list before continuing.

DELETE: Select this option to permanently delete an advisory (or several). Select one or more advisories from the list and then click the 'Finish' button to delete advisories. All settings for the advisory(s) will be permanently removed and the advisory(s) will no longer be defined.

IGNORE: Select this option to ignore (disable) an advisory. Select one or more advisories from the list and then click the 'Finish' button to disable advisories. You can ignore an advisory so it will not be recognized (processed), but you will be able to turn it back on again in the future without recreating it.
