IOP Network Settings
I/O Processor Edit Network Settings
The "Edit... Network Settings" command allows you to change the ‘rtioserver’ port number. You can also view the IP addresses and port numbers of all RASTRAC viewers that are connected to the IOP. You normally will not need to add or
change anything in the network settings. It is most often used for viewing
which processors are connected to the IOP. The only time you would need to change
anything in the network settings, is when you want to modify the port number
of the IOP (‘rtioserver’ host connection).
What’s in the Network Settings dialog:
Viewing Processors: List of all processors/computers that can pass data to
the IOP (usually RASTRAC viewers).
IP Address / Computer Name: The actual network name or IP address of the
computer connecting to the IOP.
Port Number: The IP port number for the viewing computer (default 24 for RASTRAC IOP host ‘rtioserver’).
Connected: The connected dot is filled in if the viewing processor is
actually connected to the IOP.
Read-Only: The read-only dot is filled in if the viewing processor connected
to the IOP. Read-Only connections can not be modified.
IP Address, Port, Name: The actual network IP address, port number, and name
of the computer on which the IOP is running on.
Modify Port button allows you to modify the port number of the host ‘rtioserver’.
