Point Define

The Point Define command allows you to interactively define a new point of interest. To execute the command, make sure that a map that contains the desired location is open and topmost, then select the Point... Define menu item.

If you're not sure that the desired window is on top, just click on its caption bar and move it a bit. This will cause it to become the topmost window.

The Define Point function will prompt you to click on the desired location. After clicking on the desired point location, you will be presented with another dialog to enter the point specific information. See also... Point Settings

To complete the definition process, simply type in a short descriptive identifier for the point and any other desired information, color, or icon filename.

Note: If you want to manually enter a point without clicking on a map, just select Settings... from the point menu.
