Skew Angle

This map-specific component of a legend file describes the clockwise angle through which the map’s vertical axis departs from true north. For most maps, this component may be omitted or set to zero. However, some maps, which are "turned" on the earth such that the vertical edges of the map do not point in the north/south direction, require an accurate skew angle to be specified in the legend file.
